Week 23: The Law of Least Effort

(It’s actually time for Week 24’s blog but that will be posted tomorrow!)

And…moving on!

The Law of Least Effort was my focus for this week, and I feel it could be nicknamed “The Law of Least Anxiety”.    It includes Acceptance, Responsibility, and Defenselessness.  By observing ourselves, our thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors, we can notice situations where we can practice these three tenets.  We were told the outcome is sort of like the positive mental diet on steroids, and they were right.

In moments of frustration…acceptance.  If I feel misunderstood and I notice myself getting agitated…defenselessness.

When I notice myself anxious or agitated and I think of one of these principles, what it really does is invoke my faith I know the Universe has my back, if I have my own back, and by that I mean staying relaxed and being positive/excited for the future!

And truly, this law could not have come at a better time.  A time where I have more stress (positive) than I’ve had in a long time, I have the tools on my notecards and soon to be in my mind, to be able to handle the stress with the LEAST EFFORT!

I’m so eternally grateful for this law.

  1. I’m on the same plan two… thinking of calling it week 24-ish?! Just feels different now an don our own schedules and pace… I’m a fan of quiet Saturdays and reflectin on the week… complete with Law of Least Effort?! Lovely blog–and perfect timing ❤
