Week 11: I’ve found my Home.

One of my greatest challenges in writing this weekly blog is summing up everything that’s happened over the past week.  There’s usually so many revelations/epiphanies, it’s hard to  organize them all neatly to share with you.  So, this week I’ll pick one to talk about; my compass.

At 26 years old, with a hearty education from the school of hard knocks, I’ve developed many passions in life.  Some I have no idea where they originated.  Others, it is obvious where they came from.  Some include Veterans, Autism, and underprivileged youth.

With so many directions to go in, and so many passions tugging at my heart, identifying a definite major purpose has been difficult to say the least.

Until I read week 11.

The Verse that Changed It All.

Underneath my different passions is a belief that burns deep in my core.  It is a belief that each human being is born with a mission in this lifetime to learn lessons, and essentially, elevate their consciousness.  I believe life is a game, learning is the goal, and love is the prize.

Knowing that about me, I invite you to read verse 22 from Chapter 11 of the Master Key.

“The fruit of this thought is as it were, a gift of the gods, but a gift which few as yet realize, appreciate, or understand.  The recognition of the marvelous power which is possessed by the mind under proper conditions and the fact that this power can be utilized, directed, and made available for the solution of every human problem is of transcendental importance.”

After reading this verse I knew the most empowering thing I can do for myself and others is to guide them to recognize the marvelous power they each possess, and guide them in operating the mechanism, so they may have the opportunity to elevate their consciousness and connect with infinite wisdom to solve their own problems.

And so…without further ado…

My definite major purpose is to become a Certified Guide with the MKMMA, to make a spot for myself where I can be useful to others, as they help themselves.

I feel like EDWIN C. BARNES setting out to work with EDISON!!  I will make it happen!!

For now, my next steps include keeping on top of the exercises, participating in the Digital Connections calls, and reworking my DMP/WPOA.

One of the most wonderful things about this experience is that all the morals and values discussed are ones that I’ve personally held in very high esteem my whole life.  I feel like I’ve finally found a home in the MKMMA.

Thank you all for contributing to this feeling of peace in my heart.

With All my Love,

Alicia
