For the past few weeks I’ve felt my powers of concentration and manifestation growing significantly stronger.
It was awe inspiring to witness. And it was also a little scary. Ok, I take that back. It got very scary.
As Spiderman’s uncle said, “with great power comes great responsibility.”
Abraham Lincoln said it a different way, “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”
I’ve overcome many types of adversity. But how will I handle power? Will I make sure to think of the best and highest good? What if the watchman at the gate fails? I don’t think I could bear disappointing anyone.
Which is worse, trying and failing or never trying at all? DUH!
Ok so it’s absolutely worth it to try. But how high do I want to reach? I’m no beauty queen, but I’m such an idealist…it’s hard not…
